Pilot-In-Command Course
LEARN TO FLY – HANDS-ON
The Pilot-In-Command Course builds on the principles learned during the Part 107 Test Prep Course. Since the FAA does not require a practical evaluation, many new drone pilots enter the market with very little hands-on experience in flying their small drones. This course provides the basic flying skills, safety procedures, and crew resource management competencies to give new pilots a solid foundation for safe and effective sUAS operations:
Subjects include:
- Pre-flight inspection checklist procedure
- Crew Resource Management
- Pilot-In-Command Responsibilities
- Visual Observer Duties
- Safety Monitor Duties
- Controlled Airspace – LAANC Procedures
- Obstacle Avoidance Procedures
- Signal loss procedures
- Emergency Procuduress
